Riley came to us when my sister started fostering kittens who had been abandoned and were too young to go to new homes. Riley, his sister Annie (who now lives with my parents) and his brother Corwin (who now lives with a friend of the family) were brought into a pet store when they were 5 days old and their mother had been hit by a car and killed. Even as his eyes were opening, Riley was a punk, and he's never stopped being a bossy, pushy character.

Actually, he just likes to drink out of the toilet. Nobody knows why.
We're not proud of him. Not at all.
Nobody believes this cat had a cuddly side. But he curls up around our arms on the bed all the time.
